Inspiring Club Is To Optimistic Aspirations

    March 18 was what I thought would be an ordinary day — a school day that is indifferent of its kind as if there were no expectations of such significant events. However, Ma'am Charleen told us to come explore the fairly new booth of the TLE Club. So, we 10 Markov students tagged together to dive into what the booths have for everyone.




    First and foremost, just by the entrance, we already got bombed with piles of food to choose from; it seemed like the Buko Shake was the bestseller among Markov consumers. We were then instructed to follow along the banners, which led us to a dart game area that yielded opportunities to win certain prices after paying 5 pesos. Many of our classmates decided to join — darts here, darts there. They were able to win prices afterward. After that, we were instructed to go to the main booth, wherein a 2 peso entrance fee was found to enter the said booth. We paid the fee, and we received a stamp on the hand to verify our entry into the area. 






    After a thorough exploration of the booth, we asked its president regarding the TLE booth's title and theme. The title was simply EstudyantePreneur, holding the theme "Harnessing Young Minds, Turning Passion Into Profit, Education Into Innovation". According to Jennica Paz, the president of the TLE Club, this booth aimed to showcase the various talents and skills that students possess, by providing them the opportunity to show such talents through the different specializations of the booth. Moreover, the club also strived to collect and save up funds for any incoming activities of the club.


    There have been clubs in ISNHS for the past years. However, this booth specifically left a mark in my mind, with its optimistic and inspiring theme and objectives. "Harnessing Young Minds, Turning Passion Into Profit, Education Into Innovation." hearing the words alone, one would already be moved with how the club aimed to push out the several talents of students of ISNHS.

Tagged My Way Through

          In the blink of an eye, another quarter passes. Who knew that time could pass by faster than it already does? Throughout the whole quarter, I enjoyed creating blog posts, as well as learning HTML tags.           HTML tags are the first thing I learned in ICT this quarter. It was simple at first, starting with the stand-alone tags <br>(line break), and <hr>(horizontal rule), which don't need an end tag. As time went by, more and more HTML tags were discussed by our teacher, Ma'am Evelyn; it got more and more complicated along the way.           When two love birds collide , a precious gem is delivered. Being named Airish Yafa Landicho, my name is a combination of both my parents' creativity.
